I build database-driven systems, teach, and apply AI to real-world problems — specifically helping people who are falling through the cracks. I hold a Doctorate in Engineering (AI & Machine Learning) from The George Washington University, where I now serve as an Adjunct Professor and advise doctoral candidates in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Before that, I earned dual bachelor's degrees (Social Data Analytics and Political Science) and a Master's in International Affairs (International Cyber Security) from Penn State's Schreyer Honors College. I later added an MBA in IT Management from Western Governors University — lifelong learning is the goal, and sitting still was never really an option.

My doctoral research developed an AI-driven approach to veteran suicide-risk prevention: rather than producing a risk score alone, the system uses explainable machine learning to identify the specific, individual-level factors driving a veteran's depression or anxiety, then connects them to tailored local resources — anonymously and without barriers. Earlier in my career, I served as an officer with the U.S. Federal Government, producing technical assessments for senior policymakers, and consulted with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on its Interactive Screening Program — the experience that first set me on this path.

Outside of that, I founded Dartboard Systems (software & data consulting) and NicNac Charities, Inc. — a nonprofit that helps people navigate the digital landscape, teaches tech skills, and redistributes goods from large companies to people who need them.

Letters of Support from Elected Officials

A Democratic state senator and a Republican U.S. congressman have each signed letters in support of the National Mental Health Network and ROOTS. Their words, verbatim:

LB
Senator Lisa M. Boscola
Pennsylvania State Senate, 18th District · Signed April 30, 2026
"The National Mental Health Network meets the critical infrastructure role as it provides up to 6.2 million veterans with timely access to mental health support. I fully recommend approval of The National Mental Health Network as a Qualified Critical Infrastructure NGO under 15 U.S. Code § 7442."

RM
Congressman Ryan Mackenzie
U.S. House of Representatives, PA 7th District · Signed May 27, 2026
"The National Mental Health Network's ROOTS program serves as critical infrastructure supporting our community's veteran population by providing accessible mental health screening and connection to local resources. This platform addresses a documented gap affecting 6.2 million veterans not currently served by Department of Veterans Affairs screening capacity."

Bipartisan support — State Senator Lisa Boscola (D) and Congressman Ryan Mackenzie (R).

In the Press & On the Record

Independent coverage and institutional recognition.

On "critical infrastructure." Both officials have recommended that the National Mental Health Network be designated a Qualified Critical Infrastructure NGO under 15 U.S.C. § 7442. In federal law, "critical infrastructure" refers to systems and assets so vital that their incapacitation would have a debilitating impact on national security, economic security, or public health and safety (see 42 U.S.C. § 5195c(e)). These letters reflect the officials' recommendation for that designation; the quotations above are their own words.
